Job Title : Senior Manager - Supply Chain

Roles and Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services across multiple locations.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors to ensure a seamless flow of materials and products.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement control measures to minimize excess or obsolete stock.
- Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, Finance, Maintenance, Engineering, and IT, to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
- Oversee the management of hospital procurement software.
- Procurement, Stores, and Vendor Management:
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing agreements.
- Evaluate supplier performance, monitor supplier quality, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Implement procurement strategies to ensure the availability of quality materials while optimizing costs.
- Develop and maintain a supplier evaluation and selection process.
- Manage complete procurement of medical and non-medical supplies, including printing and stationery, hospital linen, uniforms, and miscellaneous purchases.
- Receive and process indents from various departments and ensure timely processing of purchase orders with the approval of the Director.
- Oversee overall store operations across multiple locations.
- Research and assess capital equipment needs.
- Negotiate service contracts and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Utilize inventory management tools like SAP effectively.
- Conduct periodic visits to branches/units as required.
Logistics:
- Coordinate transportation, shipping, and warehousing activities.
- Optimize logistics to reduce lead times and costs.
- Track and analyze logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Quality Assurance:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards across the supply chain.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Work closely with suppliers to resolve quality-related concerns and ensure adherence to specifications.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor supplier compliance with contractual obligations and quality requirements.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure process adherence.
- Validate stock across different locations and ensure proper inventory documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (BBA / MBA / MHA / MHM) in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and other inventory management tools.
- Ability to work in a multicultural team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
