Job Description
Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and views.
Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for better performance and efficiency.
Design and implement database structures, tables, indexes, constraints, and relationships.
Work closely with application developers to integrate backend logic with front-end applications.
Perform data migration, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including query tuning and performance bottlenecks.
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing proper access controls and backup strategies.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and system design discussions.
Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and deliver database solutions.
Implement job scheduling, automation, and batch processing as needed.
Must have
A total of 6-8 years of experience as PLSQL Developer
Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development.
Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
Knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and indexing.
Experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and database administration.
Familiarity with Oracle tools like SQL*Plus, TOAD, SQL Developer, or similar.
Exposure to Unix/Linux shell scripting for database automation.
Understanding of version control tools like Git.
Knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports (optional but beneficial).
