Azure AKS Engineer_Bengaluru

Responsibilities:• Support Electronic Banking Applications setup on AKS Azure.
• Senior member of a delivery and support team to design, develop and support resilient, secure solutions that provide customer value.
• Develop, maintain, and share subject matter expertise.
• Mentor junior engineers, perform peer code reviews and contribute to the definition of the coding standards and best practices.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, through activities like HackDays, guild/practice meetups, brownbag sessions, etc.
• Work with solution architects, project managers, vendors, and contractors to design, build and deploy new solutions or enhancements to existing solutions.
• Assist with planning and execution of unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Interpret business requirements to determine the solution required to implement new functionality.
• The Engineer will be required to utilise best practice of software development to ensure we produce high quality solutions.
• The Engineer will understand a range of modern software development concepts & techniques, including test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• The role contributes to business strategy through the creation of applications and services required to support a digital bank.

• Mandatory Skills Description:• 4+ years of experience in Azure cloud hosted environment and Azure Kubernetes Services.
  • Azure AKS - experience working with pods, configuring the pods, exec into containers and review logs, etc.
  • Experience in supporting both the K8s layer, as well as supporting the deployment of workloads into Kubernetes via CI/CD.
  • Support, maintain the Kubernetes capability, and support delivery of containerized workloads.
  • Familiarity with Networks, Palo Alto, Firewalls and Security in a Cloud based environment.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, Octopus Deploy, and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work as part of a fast-paced and dynamic team.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
