Job Description
- Responsibilities: We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer who can:
- Create and document Test Automation approach/ strategy
- Gain stakeholder/s buy-in from global teams including architecture, engineering and support teams
- Implement and package technical reusable solutions into test environment
- Develop & Support the PODS across the stream to implement the reusable utilities/ framework
- Assume more responsibility, including deep troubleshooting technical skills and translating the requirements into common, reusable utilities, root cause analysis results, remediation actions, etc. - Mandatory Skills Description:- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques for web/ desktop applications, data integration middleware, API solution and Cloud solutions
- Extensive knowledge and hands on experience of developing java based test automation tools/frameworks
- Extensive knowledge and hands on experience of working with test automation for API Testing with tools like SOAP UI, Rest Assured, Karate
- Good scripting skills: Autosys, Python, Unix Shell
- Working knowledge of any cloud provider (Azure preferred)
- Experience in implementing automated tests, contributing to release and iteration planning; developing working practices of the team
- Knowledge of messaging services: TIBCO, MQ etc
- Knowledge and experience of working with a code repository and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Teamcity, Jenkins, Gitlab
