The SAP EWM / WM Consultant will be part of highly motivated and passionate team within DXC. You will be responsible for the team that performs all system maintenance, project development, migration projects at DXC. Resource will be responsible for the team that performs all EWM / WM tasks within SAP Projects at DXC all from idea, technical design, implementation, quality assurance, test, to cut-over support. He/she is responsible for leadership and ownership of Delivery and contractual requirements across managed environments.
Manage, implement, and strategize the design, configuration, development and implementation of customization and enhancements for the Solution Manager applications and integrated solutions and capabilities with relevant third-party application to achieve efficient operability, compliance and sustains productivity thus enhancing the value creation for Division business through IT innovation and support the business to attain operational excellence.
Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers' business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers' businesses. As trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge. Actively contribute to the company's solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers. Accountable for consistent and significant chargeability levels and for assisting in meeting or exceeding revenue and customer satisfaction goals. Contribute to organization's profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.
The SAP EWM / WM Consultant is motivated to take strong ownership on actions, to find innovative ways to improve the services' agility and efficiency, and to continuously gain more skills. - Responsibilities:• Analysing, advising, and making recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the technical solutions implemented.
• Translate client requirements into SAP module specifications and configurations.
• Design SAP solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and workflows.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables.
• Identify and resolve any issues or defects in the SAP solutions.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and support go-live activities.
• Create comprehensive documentation for SAP module configurations, processes, and user guides.
• Prepare regular status reports on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
• Develop training materials and user manuals.
• Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance post-implementation.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP module features, enhancements, and industry trends.
• Identify potential risks and issues related to SAP module implementations. Support in developing and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure system integrity. - Mandatory Skills Description:• 3+ Years of experience in SAP EWM / WM / Stock Room Management solutions with at least 1 implementation experience
• Experience with both S/4 HANA embedded and decentralized warehouse scenarios on SAP EWM is an advantage.
• Experience in Inbound, Outbound, and Internal warehouse processes
• Hands-on experience with integration to mobile devices is a plus.
• Experience with MFS (Material Flow systems) & warehouse automation scenarios are a value add.
• Deep experience with integration to other SAP modules like MM, SD, PP and TM
