Manager GSCM

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic thinking professional to join our Procurement team as Executive / Sr. Executive - Procurement Strategy & Analytics. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing procurement strategies, analyzing data to inform business decisions, and driving process improvements. The candidate should have a techno functional background, understand new technologies - AI / GenAI and have a strong analytical bent of mind. Knowledge of procurement / supply chain is an added plus.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Data Analysis - Collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in procurement. Identify cost saving opportunities across categories.
• Market Research - Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on market trends, supplier intelligence, and best practices in procurement.
• Spend Analysis - Analyze procurement spend data to identify areas for cost reduction, process improvement, and supplier optimization.
• Stakeholder Management - Communicate complex data insights and procurement strategies to stakeholders, including senior leadership, category managers, and suppliers.
• Process Improvement - Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall procurement experience.
• Supplier Relationship Management - Analyze supplier performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize supplier relationships.
• Digital Initiatives - Identify opportunities/Business cases to digitize operations using Gen AI tools, RPA etc.

Requirement

• Education - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience - 2-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
• Analytical Skills - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets. Well verse with Excel, Advanced Excel.
• Communication Skills - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights and procurement strategies to stakeholders.
• Procurement Knowledge - Basic knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
• Data Visualization Skills - Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI and understands use of AI
• AI and Machine Learning - Good knowledge/understanding of AI & Machine learning concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Business Acumen - Understanding of business operations and the ability to identify opportunities for AI-driven innovation.

Nice to Have :

• Masters Degree - Masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with Procurement Software - Experience with procurement software, such as SAP, Oracle, or Coupa.
• Certifications in Data Analytics - Certifications in data analytics, such as Google Analytics or Certified Data Analyst.
• Specialized AI Skills - Knowledge of specialized AI & ML areas such as computer vision, natural language processing.
