About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Drive Line calculations, you will play a crucial role in the design and selection of key components such as motors, couplings, bearings, timing belts, pinions, and gearboxes. Your expertise in Drive Line calculations will be essential in ensuring the efficiency and performance of the mechanical systems within the organization.

Responsibility

• Conduct Drive Line calculations for motor selection, coupling design, bearing specifications, timing belt sizing, and pinion & gear box selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective design solutions.
• Utilize your expertise in GO & T to optimize Drive Line performance and efficiency.
• Contribute to the overall design process by providing insights and recommendations based on Drive Line calculations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in Drive Line technology to continuously improve design practices.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Drive Line calculations
• Expertise in Motor, Coupling, Bearing, Timing Belt, Pinion & Gear Box selection
• Proficiency in Costing Design
• Expertise in GO & T
