Senior Production Engineer

Role & responsibilities

.1 Production Management:

• Oversee manufacturing processes for brake linings and brake pads.
• Optimize production efficiency, minimize downtime, and enhance productivity.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies to improve processes.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Ensure IATF 16949 compliance and maintain quality standards.
• Work closely with Quality Control (QC) and R&D teams to resolve defects and improve product quality.
• Monitor process parameters to ensure consistent product performance.

3. Team Coordination & Leadership:

• Supervise and train production staff on best practices and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with maintenance, procurement, and planning teams for smooth operations.
• Address production challenges and implement corrective actions.

4. Process Improvement & Cost Optimization:

• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in production.
• Enhance machine utilization and reduce material wastage.
• Work on automation and technology upgrades for better efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: 5-7 years in production of brake linings and brake pads in an IATF-certified company.

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and machinery related to brake components.
• Good understanding of IATF 16949 standards, production planning, and quality control.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with teams and management.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle production challenges effectively.
