Industrial activities at LEI/FZE/LET.
Support for Lab management.
Support for product costing & cost reduction activities.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Create Purchase orders & manage documentation for IEC & Automation Number of PO created
2. Discuss with designers during design stage for design of part from manufacturing process point of view. Part cost targets
3. Co-ordinate between supplier & designers for manufacturing of parts. Project plan
4. Involvement in mould design & press tool design during project handover stage.
5. Support to overseas design team for Jigs & fixtures, mould development. Project plan GR3 & GR4 dates
6. To co-ordinate between Engineering & manufacturing departments during project handover stage for development of parts, development of jigs and fixtures etc. Project plan GR3 & GR4 dates
7. Support to lab team for tools One to One
Job Context
The position is responsible for purchasing activities for prototyping & Industrial activity for new projects. Working as a individual contributor within the team, who execute all the necessary activities to maintain purchasing as per policy.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical with MV/LV switchgear background
Minimum Experience: 5-8 years of experience
Job-Specific Skills:
1. Experience of CAD 2D/3D packages
2. Experience in design & manufacturing of plastic moulds
3. Knowledge of part costing as per manufacturing process.
4. Knowledge of excel as involved in costing
