we are hiring for Machine building Engineer !!!

Work Location : Chennai

Working days : 6 days

Designation : Senior Engineer/ Assistant Manager (Based on relevant skills and Experience)

Role: Lead the Manufacturing and assembly of Special purpose machines, assembly lines and test equipments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead team of engineers & technicians and deliver Assembly lines, assembly machines, test equipments, parts manufacturing SPMs, Process plants, etc.
• Achieve time targets, Quality targets and cost targets.
• Understand the design and customer requirements
• Work closely with Design engineers for equipment design by giving feedback of previous projects and performance
• Preparing Project time line charts and adhere to it
• Preparing RFQ for BOM parts
• Coordinate with purchase for procurement of assembly parts
• Follow-up with vendors for on time delivery of assembly part
• Assigning the projects/tasks to assembly fitters and guide them for timely completion
• Co ordinate with customer for trial run and support to meet the process capabilities
• Work closely with customer for project acceptance and sign off
• Plan and coordinate New equipment installation at customer facility
• Monitor the performance of supplied equipments and work on continuous improvements
• Getting feedback from the customer and coordinate with designer for review & update
• Responsible for maintain Shop floor 5s & Shop floor safety

Required Skills and area of Experience:

• Hands on experience in special purpose machines assembly, machine alignments
• Hands on experience in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, ball screws, bearing assembly
• Assembly processes like pressing, tightening, dispensing, welding, testing, vision inspection, marking etc.
• Parts manufacturing processes like turning, different types of welding, forming, etc
• Auto CAD, Solid works
• Experience in Machining Processes / fabrication / Sheet metal works

Soft skills :

• Ability to commit aggressive timelines and to deliver on those commitments.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with team members, customers and suppliers
• Works well in a team environment with willingness to share skills and information and mentor others.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical, Mechatronics or Production Engg) with 8 to 12 years of experience
