We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Hardware Server Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling hardware server solutions to businesses across various industries. You will leverage your expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, and server hardware to identify customer needs, provide tailored solutions, and drive revenue growth for the company.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Development & Strategy :
Identify and generate new sales opportunities for hardware server products within the assigned region or industry.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and cold-calling.
Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
Client Relationship Management :
Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and technical guidance.
Understand customer needs and requirements to present relevant hardware server solutions that address specific business challenges.
Collaborate with internal teams, including technical support and product specialists, to deliver customized solutions.
Product Knowledge & Expertise :
Stay up to date with the latest trends in server technology, hardware solutions, and IT infrastructure.
Educate customers on the features, benefits, and ROI of the hardware server solutions being offered.
Provide technical advice and consultative support to customers throughout the sales process.
Sales Presentations & Negotiations :
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demos, and proposals to key decision-makers.
Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and delivery timelines in alignment with company policies and customer requirements.
Handle objections and close sales effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Sales Reporting & Administration :
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales progress using CRM tools.
Provide regular updates on sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and market trends to senior management.
Ensure all sales documentation is completed in a timely manner, including contracts and order processing.
Post-Sale Support :
Assist customers with any post-sale questions, concerns, or issues related to hardware server installation, configuration, or performance.
Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth product delivery and implementation.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. (Relevant certifications or equivalent experience can also be considered).
Experience :
2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hardware or IT industry, with a focus on server or infrastructure solutions.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Skills :
Strong understanding of hardware server technologies, networking, and IT infrastructure.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to understand complex technical solutions and explain them in a clear, customer-friendly manner.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving abilities and customer-focused mindset.
Certifications (Optional but preferred):
Certifications related to server technologies or IT solutions (e.g., CompTIA Server+, Cisco Certified Network Associate, etc.).
Additional Requirements :
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and trade shows.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
High level of initiative, self-motivation, and drive to succeed in a competitive market.
