Job Summary
The primary purpose of this role is to drive enterprise productivity, and improvement of operating income by enabling business leaders in the identification of operating expense reduction initiatives and facilitating the realization of those opportunities.
This includes 1) Partnering with functional leaders to deliver insightful and proactive financial analysis that drive fact based, data driven identification of productivity initiatives 2) leveraging proven frameworks to guide business functions to create well-organized business plans and monitoring the progress and pace of value realization 3) sizing, modeling, and prioritizing productivity initiatives.
Successful candidate will be a creative thinker, with a strong financial, technical, and business acumen, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across the Enterprise.
This individual will be responsible for staying current on technology advancements in the AI.
Roles and Responsibilities
Identify and propose potential areas for cost-out opportunities across the enterprise through data based, business contextual financial assessments/deep dives.
Facilitate the alignment of productivity initiatives before, during, and after initiatives completion
Work with key stakeholders to identify internal and external resources necessary to achieve the benefits of the initiative.
Design, develop deliver insightful financial assessments with focus on productivity
Assess, report, and escalate critical risks that may negatively impact productivity initiatives.
Ensure business cases justify productivity initiatives, outline benefits, and value. Contribute appropriate knowledge expertise to the development of the business cases and benefits.
Lead collaboratively with initiative owners to establish robust value realization measures for planned benefits within the productivity initiatives they manage.
Support key financial and business processes (Annual/Strategic Plan, Forecast, etc.) from a productivity target setting perspective
Oversee, monitor, and track the overall productivity portfolio value realization metrics and targets via scorecards.
Work cross-functionally with peers and senior leaders to negotiate and remove execution related barriers.
Manage work products of direct reports; create a high-performance team culture focused on attracting, developing, and placing great talent; foster a culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency.
Plan and advocate for needed team resources; attract top talent from inside and outside of the company.
Education
Required : Bachelor s Degree -> Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a similar field
Preferred : Master s Degree -> Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a similar field
Years of Experience
Required (must have) :
10+ years experience in a finance or analytical role
3+ years experience in strategic and financial modeling
5+ years experience in interpreting large and complex datasets and conveying findings in a simple and concise way
3+ years experience leading people directly or indirectly
3+ years experience with analytical tools and programming languages like SQL, Python, R or SAS
5+ years demonstrated experience with data analysis including business case development and measuring of operational and financial benefits
3+ years experience with visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI, etc.) is desirable
Preferred
3+ years of experience performing advanced data modeling, data mining and exploratory data analysis (e.g., linear/logistic regression, ARIMA, Cluster Analysis)
3+ years experience in retail or supply chain operations
3+ years experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (MicroStrategy, IBM Cognos, Hyperion/Essbase, Teradata)
