Job Summary:

The Senior Copywriter will be part of Lowe s Global Marketing Team based out of Bangalore. The candidate will work under the supervision of the Creative Leaders and collaborate with Designers and Producers to create design collateral for various marketing channels.

Additionally understanding of the American retail industry and cultural nuances is good to have. The suitable candidate should be a good team player, self-motivated and bring in fresh concepts that can elevate the brand image. They create impactful copy that is in the Lowes brand voice with the flexibility to write broad brand messages through to highly promotional offers. The key metrics for success are to deliver creative that is on brand.

This role is responsible for being up to date on all media channel formats, standards as well as trends. The Senior Creative Designer works with the creative team and leaders to translate business briefs into impactful design. This requires a great attention to detail, mastery of the design tools and great time management skills. The Sr. Copywriter produces a range of options to meet the needs of the business with minimal leadership intervention.

This requires a deep understanding of the customer mind-set and the ability to process data points to find a unique reason to believe in order to convince our customers that Lowes the preferred retailer for their needs. The Senior Copywriter writes a range of options to meet the needs of the business and matches the desire of the customer based on research and insights.

The Senior Copywriter writes copy independently for jobs that are both cross-functional and complex. Typically, the Senior Copywriter is writing for, and has high accountability for, jobs that are categorized as Tier 1 (projects that are highly complex and have high impact to the brand and the customer). This requires deep experience across multiple channels, including digital, social media, print, broadcast TV scripts, radio scripts and video scripts.

The candidate will require to have good communication skills to be able to understand requirements accurately and present their concepts confidently to the different stakeholders.
