Job Title: Head - Laboratory Services

Education: MBBS; MD | DCP (Microbiology | Pathology)

Experience: 10 -15 years in a relevant field

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management: Oversee all laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies. Lead and mentor a team of laboratory technicians and allied paramedical staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement.
• Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and maintain departmental protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality indicators to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results. Regularly review and update practices to align with best practices and advancements in the field.
• Report Approval: Take responsibility for the approval of laboratory reports, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of results to healthcare providers and patients.
• Strategic Development: Drive the establishment of new laboratory centers in accordance with company policies, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion in laboratory services.
• Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate effectively with heads of other departments to ensure seamless integration of laboratory services within the broader healthcare delivery framework.
• -Operational Management: Oversee the financial performance of the laboratory, including Profit and Loss (P&L) management, budgeting, and resource allocation. Identify and implement strategies for business growth and operational efficiency.
