Job Description
Job Description:
This is a specialized Credit Controller Role to support Credit Control globally with specific tasks. Helping the collections team with tasks. This role will have a global remit and will involve significant contact with internal partners, within Credit control and across other functions. The individual will be responsible for meeting defined key performance targets while adhering to departmental policies and processes.
Responsibilities:
- Cross functional and internal team partnership for problem solving, strategic/tactical workflow improvements, using data and analytics of Collections performance
- Work with Performance Excellence and enable forecasting, and enabling portfolio leaders to consistently improve the overall DSO, reduce debt, and risks to maximize cash
- Coordinate focused debt review meetings with internal customers. Ensure actions from these meetings are followed-up
- Coordinate Risk & Control activity as part of annual RCA exercise.
- Drive workflow risk & control identification initiatives for Collections.
- Lead and monitor the monthly operation control evidences process for collections .
- Communicate & work with portfolio leaders on organizational change initiatives within the organization.
- Work on initiatives related to scale, Operational efficiency and workflow transformation.
- Ability to work on restructuring and reframing operations, risk related process documents and policies.
- Should be able to coordinate Sanctions, WHT related activities, Intercompany debt, unclaimed liability refunds for collections.
- Coordinate activities related to sending dunning letters, 120+ Debt escalation letters to client.
- Monitor activities related to customer portal upload
Qualifications:
- Highly motivated, task oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Confirmed customer service experience, ideally working with large international clients
- Proven success handling accounts receivable and resolving billing issues
- Ability to work under pressure and driven to achieve targets
- Excellent interpersonal skills with high attention to detail and proven track record to set and handle several priorities
- Ability to drive performance and ensure results delivery
- Excellent ability to speak and write in English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office with strong skills in excel
- 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
- Bachelor s degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Financial services shown experience desired
