Lead UX Researcher

About the Role:

We are seeking a Lead UX Researcher to uncover deep insights about users across India, from Tier 1 cities to Tier 3 towns. This is an exciting opportunity to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to understand user behaviors, needs, and preferences across diverse demographics. You will lead research initiatives that drive user-centric design, ensuring our products resonate with users nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conducting end to end primary and secondary research; on ground and telephonic interviews/ remote.
2. Plan and implement user research strategies and methodologies including but not limited to user interviews, usability testing, concept testing, surveys, card sorting.
3. Build comprehensive user personas and journey maps based on behavioral and cultural insights.
4. Identify user pain points and motivations, providing actionable recommendations to improve user experiences.
5. Present research findings to senior leadership, product teams, the design and other key stakeholders.
6. Plan, conduct, and analyze usability studies for prototypes and live products.
7. Conduct quality research audits to ensure the quality of user studies.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.

• Experience:
• 3 to 5 years in UX research with a portfolio showcasing impactful research work.
• Hands-on experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Proven ability to conduct research with diverse user groups, including rural and urban populations.

• Skills:
• Proven ability to manage and lead a research team, ensuring efficient collaboration and high quality deliverables.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent storytelling and presentation skills to communicate findings effectively.
