Program Manager - Income Generation

Lodha Foundation offers an exciting platform to elevate our womens empowerment initiatives. In this role, you will work to identify and develop long-term partnerships with leading social enterprises and companies to connect women working from homes and/or villages with sustainable income generating opportunities that have already experienced success and scaled to date.

As a Program Manager Income Generation, you will act as an entrepreneur within the womens empowerment domain, with success measured by the impact of your initiatives. You will manage a dynamic team of field coordinators across geographic locations, integrating insights from internal and external experts to effectively implement and scale our programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and Scale Income Generating Opportunities for Women that are associated with leading social enterprises and/or companies: Identify income generating opportunities with leading social enterprises and/or companies that the Lodha Foundation may invest CapEx in to create sustained income generating opportunities for women in their villages and/or homes with a focus on villages Lodha Foundation supports in and around Dombivli, Thane, Mandwa, and Pune.
• Program Development: Assess the needs and aspirations of women in and around Lodha Foundations core geographies to develop impactful income generating initiatives that offer women long-term, sustained income generating opportunities with reputed social enterprises and/or companies from their villages with maximum earning potential and aligned with womens interests and needs. This will include identifying and upskilling women for the opportunities as well as providing holistic support to women to thrive while earning an income.
• Program Implementation: Manage the program implementation through working with Lodha Foundation’s field coordinators, stakeholders from social enterprises/companies, and women at the village level to ensure the women access the skilling, infrastructure, raw materials, market linkage, and sustained income over time as part of home- or village-based work linked with existing social enterprises.
• Operational Oversight: Manage operations at both internal and external levels, including procurement, budgeting, monitoring and evaluation, communications, and partnerships.
• Partnership Building: Identify & engage new partners to test & scale innovative ideas and initiatives.
• Strategic Direction: Provide guidance and support for key programs, such as Unnati’s formal workforce program
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders for program implementation, scaling, advocacy, research, and monitoring & evaluation. Report progress to the Senior Program Manager and Director of Social Impact – Women’s Economic Empowerment.

Education & Experience:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in working with social enterprises, market linkages, and/or peri-urban or rural women’s economic development with a Post-Graduation degree.
• Proven dedication to development and social impact issues.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage large-scale, multi-year programs with diverse stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of India’s political and cultural environments.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
