Merchandiser

Role & responsibilities

• Identify and collaborate with new and existing vendors to source high-quality fabrics that align with buyer requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with fabric suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality assurance.
• Conduct regular vendor evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and ethical practices.
• Negotiate costs with vendors to ensure optimal pricing without compromising on quality.
• Manage the end-to-end process of sample development, from initial concept to final approval.
• Ensure timely delivery of samples that meet buyer specifications and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure all sourced fabrics meet the required standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, lead times, and vendor performance.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1- 3 years of relevant experience
• Textile Engineering Graduate
• Team player
