AVP/VP - Finance & Accounts - Hospitality Industry

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support the organization's strategic objectives.

2. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

3. Financial Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, laws, and standards, while identifying and mitigating financial risks.

4. Accounting and Financial Operations: Oversee the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.

5. Financial Leadership and Guidance: Provide financial guidance and support to senior management, department heads, and other stakeholders.

6. Strategic Decision-Making: Participate in strategic decision-making, providing financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and development.

7. Team Management and Development: Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team.

Requirements:

1. Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

2. Minimum 12-15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

3. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, laws, and standards.

4. Excellent financial analysis, planning, and budgeting skills.

5. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
