Data Analyst - Supply Chain Management

Position Summary:

As a Data Analyst - Supply Chain Management, you will be involved in supporting the data analytics efforts within the SCM department. You will analyze and interpret supply chain data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize inventory management, procurement, and overall supply chain operations across the hospital network. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about data analysis, healthcare, and supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret large datasets related to hospital supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory levels, demand forecasts, and supplier performance.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (procurement, logistics, finance) to provide data-driven insights and recommendations for process improvements.
• Support in data validation, cleaning, and preparation for detailed reporting and analysis.
• Assist in demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and tracking of product performance to reduce wastage and costs.
• Identify trends and patterns in supply chain performance, and help develop strategies to address inefficiencies.
• Provide analytical support to the team for process improvement initiatives, ensuring better operational efficiencies and cost management.
• Work closely with the IT department to support data integration and automation efforts across the supply chain management systems.
• Generate periodic reports and presentations for senior management on data analysis findings and actionable insights.
• Participate in supply chain projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and perform detailed analysis.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear and actionable recommendations.
• A keen interest in supply chain management and its application in the healthcare industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and departments.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with supply chain management concepts, inventory control, and procurement processes in the healthcare sector.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Knowledge of ERP and supply chain management systems is a plus.
