Justdial - Linux System Administrator - Bash/Shell Scripting (1-4 yrs)

Job Description :

- Responsible for 24 X 7 operations

- Shift and weekly offs on rotation basis.

- Maintain automated scripts

- Jenkins, Ansible, shell scripting, python etc.

- Basic to moderate level.

- Execute critical server maintenance activities.

- Setting up production and development environment for web-applications.

- Closely work with development team

- Provide technical support, solution and help to debug issues.

- Log analysis to identify ongoing and potential issues.

- Concepts of Operating system

- Exposure/in depth knowledge of Linux Operating system

- Concepts of file system

- Programming concepts and willing to adapt scripting skills

Skills/Experience :

- Command on Linux OS.

- Good at BASH shell scripting.

- In depth knowledge of Linux File system.

- Basic concepts of Network and security.

- Experience of HTTP servers i.e. Apache, Nginx etc.

- Good knowledge of MySQL database.

- Troubleshooting skills.

- Log analysis skills.

- Hardening of servers/ services

- Configure monitoring tools i.e. nagios.
