About Software Development Competency Center:

- Involves the use of web and back-end technologies, programming languages, frameworks, and tools to create unique custom applications that provide specific functionality to business users. Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in Python backend development

Previous experience with Fast API, GCP Cloud Services, BigQuery

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities of a Lead Backend Developer:

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services

Optimize application performance and scalability

Collaborating with other team members, including front-end developers and project managers, to deliver high-quality web applications.

Ensure application security and compliance

Designing and implementing data storage solutions, including databases.

Collaborate with frontend and UX teams to deliver a seamless application experience

Mentor and train junior developers

Stay abreast of the latest backend development technologies and trends

Implement and maintain DevOps and CI/CD practices

Adhere to coding standards and best practices

Document code and application architecture

Additional Responsibilities that May Be Required:

Manage a team of backend developers

Assist with architectural and design decisions

Participate in strategic planning and decision-making

Represent the engineering department in interactions with clients and stakeholders
