Manager NOC

Role & responsibilities

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager System Administrator to join our dynamic IT team who has knowledge on scheduling ,coaching , mentoring , providing constructive feedback to the team whoes working in an 24/7 environment. .
• Manager who is responsible for taking challenges , going on client calls ,handling escalation .
• Provide training and guidance to team to develop and meet their goals. Who has ability to do year end appraisal.
• Drive automation and continuous improvements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible for reporting (Monthly , weekly, daily)
• Ability to drive client projects .
• Ability to coordinate with different departments internally.

Responsibilities

Ensuring all the alerts generated are actioned appropriately and within SLA.  (Infra support , Application support , LDP(Cyber security SOC alerts)).

Infra support :

• Managing alerts for all the server which are monitored to thru monitoring tool (Labtech)
• Managing alerts which are triggered through different applications
• Monitoring the backup tool and making sure all the backups are completed.
• Auditing and following the change process in case change tickets are opened .

Application support- (Job Scheduler ) :

• Handling real time issue related to any job failure which are scheduled through active batch., analyse logs .
•  Ensuring team is welworsed with  the workflow of the the jobs and their dependencies.
• Auditing runbooks and making sure they are upto date .
• Creating and  updating the existing workflow for the smooth functioning of the team .

LDP(Cyber security SOC alerts)

• Handling EDR and MDR alerts .
• Auditing monthly report for EDRR and MDRR .
•  Weekly calls with the HCL support team , making sure raising right and approriate questions or provide suggestion on the process which can help to improve the process.

Skills Required

• Certifications on Window Server .
• Understanding and implementation on ITIL Foundation 4
• knowledge on Job Schedulers , should be able to read logs and understand the logic of the jobs within job scheduler
• Undestanding on cloud infra and understanding on Backups .
• Basic knowledge on cyber security (MDR and EDR)
