Sr. Associate / Sr. Salesforce Developer (Full-time, Mumbai)

Department: Investment Systems; Reporting to: VP Application Development

Hiring for India office of one of the largest US-based Financial Management firms in the world.

Summary: The employee will be developing business features and technical capabilities to automate business processes and/or provide a simple solution to reduce manual effort. You will be familiar with our core data models and APIs in Salesforce and internal data systems and how Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, and Leads map to key business processes in our Sales and Investor Relation groups. You will drive the implementation and delivery of development projects and work directly with Business Analysts, Development team and QA team to ensure the success of the projects.

Primary functions:

• Object-oriented programming in Salesforce
• Reconciling data, debugging, and performing root cause analysis techniques.
• Implementing security frameworks for user authorization and authentication.
• Installing FSL managed package and guided setup configuration.
• Enterprise integrations utilizing event Based Frameworks is highly preferred.
• Writing Queries in SOQL, MS SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Experience with Service Cloud, Conga and managed packages like CVENT

Education required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT or a related field

Experience required:

1. 8 years minimum hands-on development experience with Apex, Visualforce and the Lighting Component Framework.

2. 3 years minimum experience in the financial industry.

3. Advanced knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, etc.

4. Experience with Salesforce Sales & Services Cloud; Marketing Cloud experience a plus.

5. Experience with APIs and integrations.

6. Experience working on an Agile development team.

7. Experience with Software development outside of the Salesforce ecosystem.

8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

9. Proven ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization and develop positive working relationships.

10. Excellent communication/influence skills, including reports; presentations; group facilitation; and ability to develop professional relationships both inside and outside the organization.

11. Capable of independent judgment with significant discretion to make daily operational decisions.

12. Thorough knowledge and understanding of financial institution operations and business processes.

13. General familiarity with problem analysis and excellent level of problem-solving capabilities to establish adequate solutions to operating problems.

14. Must be able to satisfy all job responsibilities, including detecting and resolving system errors with very limited input from the direct supervisor.

15. Stays current with emerging technology trends.

16. Must be flexible to work after-hours and on-call.
