We are looking for a talented and driven software engineer with 2 - 5 years experience for our Systems Engineering team that is responsible for the software on the edge on smart dash cameras that are relied upon by thousands of fleets all over the world. Depending on the relevant experience, you can be considered for a senior software engineer designation.

Requirements

Desired Skills:

Working knowledge of developing Java and/or Android apps.

Working knowledge in using remote data via RESTAPIs and JSON.

Experience in integrating third party libraries and APIs.

Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications.

Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Good knowledge of OS concepts like multi threading, data-structures and algorithms.

Experience in optimizing code for memory and performance using profiling tools is a plus.

Experience in using NDK and JNI is a plus.

Good communication skills, good team player, independent, critical thinker, passionate about learning new skills.

Ability to work independently, critical thinking, clear communication, passion for learning new things and being a strong team player are all must-haves. In this role you will be working with internal stakeholders to enhance the RideViewTM platform, as well as responding to requests from developers and partners in an agile manner.
