Roles & Responsibilities HOD English

1. Curriculum & Teaching: Oversee English curriculum, ensure effective lesson delivery, and introduce innovative teaching methods.
2. Assessment & Evaluation: Design and review assessments, analyze student performance, and provide necessary interventions.
3. Faculty Leadership: Mentor teachers, conduct training, and coordinate departmental meetings.
4. Resource Management: Develop teaching materials, recommend books, and integrate technology in teaching.
5. Student Engagement: Organize literary events, debates, and competitions to enhance language skills.
6. Administrative Duties: Allocate workload, coordinate with other departments, and manage timetable planning.
7. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to school policies, maintain academic records, and communicate with parents.

Preferred candidate profile : MA, B'ed with minimum 3 to 4yrs of exp teaching grade 11 and 12
