Senior Architect

Responsibilities:

• Design Development: Lead the creation of detailed architectural designs, ensuring compliance with Mumbai's Development Control and Promotion Regulations (DCPR) 2034.
• Regulatory Compliance: Possess expert knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulations to ensure all designs meet statutory requirements.
• Urban Planning: Apply advanced understanding of urban planning principles to integrate projects seamlessly into the urban fabric.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD and similar tools for precise design execution; proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for presentations and data management.
• Client Collaboration: Engage with clients to ascertain project requirements, providing expert guidance and solutions.
• Project Estimation: Develop comprehensive estimates covering construction costs, timelines, and special project considerations.
• Team Leadership: Direct and mentor architectural staff in developing project drawings, feasibility studies, and budget assessments.
• Contract Management: Prepare and oversee work contracts for subcontractors, ensuring clarity and compliance.
• Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to verify adherence to architectural plans and quality standards.
• Public Engagement: Develop and deliver presentations to inform stakeholders and the public about upcoming projects.

Experience:

• Years of Experience: 8-15 years in architecture, with a focus on real estate residential and commercial projects.
• Project Portfolio: Demonstrated experience in handling end-to-end design development processes, having completed at least two projects from inception to completion, each approximately 50,000 sq. feet to 100,000 square feet.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Licensure: Registered with the Council of Architecture (COA) in India.
• Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven track record in project management.
