Head of Product LC Capital India

About the Role :
The Head of Products India will be a key leader responsible for driving the product strategy and roadmap for the Indian market. This role will require a deep understanding of the Indian market, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong analytical and leadership skills, capable of leading and mentoring a high-performing product team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define and execute the product strategy for the Indian market: Conduct market research, analyse customer needs and competitive offerings, and develop a compelling product roadmap that aligns with the overall business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing product team: Build, develop, and lead a team of product managers, designers, and researchers. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success.
- Develop and launch new products and features: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and design to development and launch. Ensure that products meet customer needs, are competitive in the market, and achieve business goals.
- Drive product innovation: Identify and explore new product opportunities, conduct A/B testing and other experiments, and continuously improve existing products based on user feedback and market trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and other key stakeholders in the Indian market.
- Stay abreast of market trends and competitive landscape: Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and market trends to identify new opportunities and address potential threats.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences: Build thought leadership and represent the company at industry events and conferences in India.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in product management: 12+ years of experience in product management roles, with a strong track record of success in launching and scaling successful products.
- Deep understanding of the Indian market: Extensive knowledge of the Indian market, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and develop effective solutions to complex challenges.
- Excellent leadership and mentorship skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams, build strong relationships, and foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. 1
- Strategic thinking and planning skills: Ability to develop and execute long-term product strategies that align with business objectives.
- Data-driven decision making: Ability to make data-driven decisions and use data to measure and improve product performance.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
- MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
