Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Apps Technical Consultant with expertise in Oracle Workflows and Oracle Applications Framework (OAF). The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) development, coupled with a good understanding of business processes and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Design & Development :

- Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle EBS modules, focusing on Workflows and OAF components.

- Create and modify OAF pages, regions, and controllers.

- Customize and extend standard Oracle workflows and develop new workflows as per business requirements.

Requirement Analysis :

- Gather and analyze requirements from business users and functional consultants.

- Provide technical solutions aligning with business needs and Oracle standards.

Integration & Testing :

- Integrate Oracle applications with third-party systems using APIs and interfaces.

- Conduct unit testing and support system and integration testing phases.

Documentation :

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including MD70s, design documents, and user guides.

Support & Maintenance :

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Workflows, OAF pages, and other technical components.

- Support Oracle EBS upgrades, patching, and implementation projects.

Required Skills :

Oracle Workflows :

- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Workflow Builder and customizing workflows.

- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging workflow issues.

Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) :

- Proficient in OAF page customization, extension, and development.

- Strong knowledge of Java, JSP, and XML for OAF development.

PL/SQL :

- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and database design.

Interfaces and APIs :

- Experience with Oracle open interfaces, APIs, and integration techniques.

Oracle EBS Modules :

- Good understanding of Oracle EBS modules like Financials, SCM, or HRMS.

Others :

- Knowledge of Oracle Forms, Reports, and Alerts is a plus.

- Familiarity with Oracle BI Publisher and FNDLOAD utilities is advantageous.
