Technical Consultant - Oracle PBCS Module (8-9 yrs)

Job Description

The Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) Technical Consultant will be responsible for implementing and managing Oracle PBCS/E-PBCS solutions for our clients. The role requires extensive technical expertise and the ability to guide project teams through the complete implementation lifecycle.

This includes application creation, metadata build, form development, business rules, security configuration, integration, and workflow management.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and develop Oracle PBCS applications, including creating metadata, developing planning forms, writing business rules, and configuring security models.

- Configure and develop complex reports, dashboards, and workflows based on business requirements.

- Implement backup automation and ensure system performance and reliability.

- Design and implement integration solutions between Oracle PBCS and other systems (i.e., EPM/Hyperion, ERP, financial systems) using FDMEE, ODI, or Data Management.

- Ensure smooth data flows between various source and target systems, managing data transformations, validations, and mappings.

- Lead the project team and work closely with functional and business stakeholders to understand requirements and design appropriate solutions.

- Provide technical guidance to junior consultants and ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards during the implementation.

- 8+ years of experience in implementation of Oracle Planning and Budgeting cloud service (E/PBCS)

- 6+ successful end to end implementation in E/PBCS

- Lead the solution build and guide the project team

- Excellent Technical knowledge on Oracle Planning and Budgeting like Application Creation, metadata build, Planning form development, Validation, Business Rules, Integration, workflow and security configuration, reports, backup automation, etc.

- Functional understanding of Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting process

- Strong understanding of the integration capability of the HP and E/PBCS with EPM/Hyperion and other source/target systems using FDMEE/ODI/Data Management

- Create project documents like Test Scripts, Integration configuration documents, Manuals, etc.

- B.Tech or MCA by qualification

- Excellent verbal & written communication and great presentation skills i.e. ability to articulate the business and technologies in a concise, crisp manner to internal/external stakeholders

- Advanced knowledge of Spreadsheets (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets), PowerPoint, etc.

- Confident and assertive

- Open for long/short term travel based on the project need to GCC Countries

- Prior onsite projects experience in GCC region would be added advantage

- Knowledge on EPM Planning and Budgeting, EPM Profitability and Cost management, EPM Account

- Reconciliation would be an added advantage
