Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the technical design, development, and implementation of Oracle EBS applications across various modules (e.g., Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).
- Develop custom solutions including interfaces, reports, workflows, forms, and extensions using Oracle EBS development tools like PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OA Framework, and BI Publisher.
- Provide in-depth technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle EBS applications, ensuring optimal performance and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Design and develop interfaces between Oracle EBS and other enterprise systems (third-party applications, databases, etc.).
- Lead data migration activities from legacy systems to Oracle EBS, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Implement Oracle EBS patches, upgrades, and customizations as needed, ensuring minimal system downtime.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize Oracle EBS environments, including performance tuning and system health checks.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation and training to both technical and functional teams.
- Participate in system testing and quality assurance processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior technical consultants and team members.
- Engage with Oracle support and internal teams for issue resolution and service request management.
Skills and Qualifications :
- Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 and/or 11i).
Technical Skills :
Expertise in Oracle EBS development tools :
- PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OAF (Oracle Application Framework), Workflow Builder, and BI Publisher.
- Proficient in Oracle SQL, database tuning, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Oracle EBS modules such as Financials (AP, AR, GL), SCM (Inventory, Purchasing), HRMS, and Manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of Oracle EBS architecture, integration, and data model.
- Experience in creating custom reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS security models and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Applications and Oracle integration technologies is a plus.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Relevant Oracle certifications are highly desirable.
Communication Skills :
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business users, functional teams, and management.
Problem Solving :
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Preferred Experience :
- Previous experience with Oracle EBS upgrade projects.
- Experience working in large, global enterprises.
- Strong background in Oracle EBS implementations and post-go-live support.
- Exposure to Agile or other project management methodologies.
