Designation : Deputy Manager

Please note that this position is based in Raipur ONLY for 6 months duration and later the location will be changed to either Delhi or Pune.

Reports to : State Lead

The Deputy Manager will be responsible to coordinate thevocational education project as part of Samagra Shiksha and will develop astrategic roadmap to execute the project, coordinate with the field staffmonitoring and tracking, manage data collection, coordinate with externalparties (NSDC, Sector Skill Councils, Vocational Training Providers, PSSCIVEetc.) for successful delivery of vocational education project in the state.

Responsibilities :

Liaison and support SamagraShiksha officials in planning, execution and monitoring of vocational educationactivities through the school academic year

Document and draft officialletters and proposals, file noting, presentations, etc.

Develop monitoring strategies andensure timely implementation of program requisites

Support on Data Collection andReporting to provide data-based decision-making

Budgeting and planning ofvocational education components

Organize and facilitate/leadmeetings and events with multiple stakeholders

Liaison with Govt. officials toensure seamless implementation of Vocational Education scheme

Coordination with various statedepartments and external parties (such as NSDC, Sector Skill Councils,Vocational Training Providers, PSSCIVE etc.) involved in execution ofvocational/skill education

Develop industry linkages andfacilitate their active participation on the skill development efforts

Networking and advocacy withstate and district administration

Keep the self-updated with latestschemes and govt. programs relevant to the skill ecosystem

Collaborate with internal andother state\u2019s team to use and share learnings and practices

Develop a strategic roadmap forLend-a-Hand India\u2019s presence in the state

Assist in expansion ofLend-a-Hand India\u2019s operations in the neighboring states

Lead teams of Projectcoordinators with Instructors and manage multiple projects

Responsible to lead meetings anddeliver presentations

Flexibilityto travel within and across states

Requirements
Desired Experience :

5 to 8+ years of work experience (private sector / socialenterprise / implementation of government schemes)

Experience of working with government agencies,especially at the state level

Past Project management experience

Experience of working with senior management

Qualification :

Masters in Social Work, Public Policy, Management etc.

Proven interest and track record in the area of skilldevelopment

Fluency in English and the official language of therespective state

Relationship building,Ability to work in ambiguity anduncertainty, Empathy,

Transparency in processes

Language proficiency for Hindi. (Speak, read, write\u2014asofficial communication language)

Excellent computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Preparation and utilization of MIS systems.
