Legal Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and executing various legal matters related to Labour, Land, Appeals, Arbitration etc.
• To attend court related matters in Trail Court, Sessions Court, District and High Courts on behalf of the organization
• To study and understand merits and demerits of the matters and provide necessary inputs and prepare action plan
• Liasioning with advocates and various government authorities for ensuring legal and statutory compliances
• Drafting and preparing various contracts and safeguarding organizational interests
• Drafting of various service contracts, agreements, NDAs, sale and purchase agreements, etc.
• Preparing and issuing various notices, memo, warning letters etc. and drafting reply to various notices received
• Preventative measures to mitigate legal risk
• Issuing various notices to parties, file mediation proceedings and arbitration
• To keep track of status about on-going matters, court cases, its proceedings and outcome
• MIS preparation and presentation to the management or seniors on periodic basis
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 12-18 years of experience as a Legal Manager or similar role.
• LLB degree from a recognized university (Any Specialization).
• LLM degree preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Contract Act, Transfer Pricing Laws, Income Tax Laws, Labour Laws, Arbitration & Conciliation Act etc.
