Job Details:
A Learning and Development Lead would contribute towards designing & implementing
learning strategies, designs and deliver courses and evaluate effectiveness. Conduct
organizational needs analysis and create training plans to ensure that all employees have the
required competencies to excel in their roles. Reviewing and revising course materials to ensure
they align with operating processes, procedures, and systems.
Strong communication, project management, and budgeting skills are required.
Proven experience and knowledge of effective learning methods are essential.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Assesses training and development needs through focus groups, and communication
with managers, instructors, and customer representatives.
• Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of learning, onboarding,
orientation, skills training, behavioural learnings for employees.
• Develops unique training programs to fulfil business specific needs to maintain or
improve job skills.
• Scout for suitable trainers of Vendors as required.
• Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
• Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including
group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
• Designing learning solutions to ensure employees get the best out of their development.
• Use digital tools to create flexible and innovative learning program.
• Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests
and assessments, and retraining requirements.
• Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
• Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in training and development.
• Prepares/ tracks and implements training budget; maintains records and reports of
expenses.
• Guide junior team members with BAU
• Performs other related duties as required.
Must Have Skills/Competencies:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
• Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
• Ability to design and implement effective learning solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/ Google Suite and related program software.
