AI TECH Lead

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced AI Tech Lead to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge AI solutions for the education sector. As the AI Tech Lead, you will oversee the technical implementation of AI/ML projects, mentor a team of engineers, and ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of AI/ML engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Define technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry trends.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models and systems, with a strong focus on scalability and performance.
• Champion best practices in AI/ML development, including model versioning, reproducibility, and deployment pipelines.

Solution Development and Integration:

• Architect AI solutions for diverse educational applications, leveraging Generative AI and other advanced techniques.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement AI/ML models for use cases such as personalized learning, predictive analytics, and automated content generation.
• Ensure seamless integration of AI/ML solutions with existing systems and platforms.

Generative AI and Innovation:

• Stay abreast of advancements in Generative AI (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face) and identify opportunities for their application in education.
• Drive the development of proof-of-concept projects that demonstrate the value of innovative AI techniques.
• Explore and implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows and other advanced methodologies.

Team Collaboration and Development:

• Foster collaboration between data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts.
• Organize and lead technical reviews, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
• Provide training and resources to team members to keep them updated with the latest AI/ML advancements.

Governance and Ethical AI:

• Implement AI governance frameworks to ensure ethical and responsible AI usage in educational contexts.
• Establish guardrails and monitoring systems to maintain transparency, fairness, and accountability.
• Advocate for data privacy and security in AI applications.

Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor the performance of deployed models, refining and retraining as needed.
• Conduct regular reviews of AI systems to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
• Contribute to the organizations thought leadership by publishing whitepapers and presenting at industry conferences.

Requirements:

• A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML development, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Expertise in Generative AI platforms and tools (e.g., GPT, LLaMA, LangChain).
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with cloud-native AI/ML services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering business value.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in the edtech sector or a similar domain is a plus.
