Experience in leading HR Operations in CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT OR ANY OTHER HEAVY ENGINEERING SEGMENT is mandatory

JOB SUMMARY

- Lead and manage the HR function, aligning people strategies with business objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Develop and implement HR initiatives to drive employee engagement, talent development, and cultural transformation.

- Foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performance work environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent will primarily be in charge of:

Talent Acquisition & Retention

- Create robust talent acquisition strategies to attract skilled professionals in engineering, manufacturing, and technical roles.

- Build and manage pipelines for critical positions and develop retention strategies to minimize turnover in key roles.

- Ensure effective on boarding processes (HR manual, training etc.) that promote long-term engagement and retention.

Performance Management System

- Implement performance management systems through effective KRA and KPI identification. Ensuring smooth operation of PMS.

Training Programs

- Develop Training Program for GET.

- Identify skill gaps and work with department heads to design targeted training programs.

- Promote leadership development programs to build a pipeline of future leaders within the company.

Compensation & Benefits Administration:

- Design and oversee competitive compensation packages to attract and retain top talent in the heavy engineering sector.

- Oversee benefits administration and work to enhance employee satisfaction with compensation and benefits offerings.

HR Strategy & Company Culture

- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the business's overall mission and growth objectives.

- Oversee and manage HR budgeting, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

- Develop engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and communication channels to foster a positive, productive workplace.

- Conduct employee engagement surveys and action planning to improve organizational climate

CANDIDATE PROFILE

- 15+ years of HR experience, preferably in HEAVY ENGINEERING INDUSTRY

- Proven leadership and management skills

- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations

- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

- Experience with HR systems and analytics

- Professional certifications like SHRM-CP, HRCI-PHR, or CIPD

- Master's degree in HR, Business, or related field
