Camera Test Engineer

• Responsible for complete Camera testing of handset i.e. Subjective and objective Testing including basic functionality testing.

• Responsible for Camera test reports and comparison presentations.

• Responsible for benchmark Camera Testing and comparison with DUT.

• Understanding of Camera Parameters and hardware parts

• Understandings of Camera lab tools.

• Objective Test : Objective testing and analysis of Camera modules for under-development and launched products , generation of objective reports and feedback to tuning team

• Subjective Test : Understanding of Camera parameter and finding all quality related issues in real environment

• Assists others in root cause failure analysis to avoid future failures.

• Gathers and examines basic Camera data from field studies, market surveys and correlates the data for analysis using well-defined engineering techniques, principles and procedures.

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritized, plan and coordinate testing activities.

• Follows company safety and health guidelines.

• Performs other work as assigned.

• Works with Project Engineering to ensure the Camera quality of new and modified installations • Professionally and systematically defines designs, develops, monitors and refines an Asset Maintenance Plan that includes.

Desired Skills and Competencies

• Hands-on experience with Camera Lab tools i.e. IMA Tool, Light box, Resolution Charts , Distortion Charts, Color charts, Step charts and DNP Viewer(Details, functionality and specifications)

• Hands-on experience with Camera picture comparison and picture clicking techniques

• Should have detailed knowledge about Camera properties, sensor, resolutions, ISO, hardware and ISP system.

• Should be expert in finding image quality issues and aware about all the camera parameters

• Should be well aware about camera testing standards, LAB tools, preconditions and different light conditions (D65. TL84, CWF and A etc.)

• For subjective testing , tester should be well aware about camera market standard.
