Senior Structural Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Lead Structural Design: Oversee the design and execution of high-rise, large-scale structural projects, ensuring strict compliance with regional and international standards.
• Develop Detailed Drawings: Create comprehensive design drawings, including precise plans, sections, and elevations, tailored to high-rise construction needs.
• Structural Modeling: Build accurate architectural and structural models using industry-standard tools such as ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, PROKON, and Revit, ensuring seamless integration with project requirements.
• Concrete Design & Detailing: Design durable and efficient concrete structures and specialized formwork systems. Perform precise rebar detailing and accurate quantity estimations specific to the complexities of high-rise buildings.
• Building Estimations: Prepare detailed cost estimations, covering materials, labor, and associated expenses. Conduct in-depth concrete quantity surveys to optimize resources and support cost-efficient project execution.
• Collaborative Execution: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architectural and MEP departments, to ensure seamless integration and alignment across all project phases.
• Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of accuracy and quality in all deliverables, ensuring adherence to project specifications and design excellence.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Masters in Structural Engineering (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years in structural engineering, including large-scale projects in the GCC region.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, AutoCAD, PROKON, and Revit. Strong expertise in concrete design, rebar detailing, and cost estimation.
• Competencies: Analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Proven experience in adapting designs for regional and international project requirements.
