Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and/or manage detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget estimates.
• Coordinate and manage the implementation of IT application solutions (websites, mobile apps, web apps, etc), ensuring adherence to project schedules and deadlines.
• Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate with key and business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors, to ensure project alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and key stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
• Monitor project progress to identify and resolve issues early, ensuring smooth project delivery.
• Ensure that all IT applications meet required quality standards and user requirements.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project outcomes and identify lessons learned.
• Lead and mentor a project team, including IT developers, business analysts, and subject matter experts.
• Foster a collaborative, results-driven team culture.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and costs are controlled.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT project management methodologies, ensuring that best practices are followed.
• Ensure consistent application of project management tools, processes, and templates.

Required skills and qualifications.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred).

• PMP (Project Management Professional)

• Agile / Scrum certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster)

• Proven experience in managing projects through the entire lifecycle, from initiation to closure.

• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.

• Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.

• Knowledge of common enterprise IT applications (e.g., ERP systems, CRM platforms, etc.) and IT infrastructure.

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar).

• Strong understanding of system integrations, databases, and cloud technologies.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver successful outcomes under tight deadlines.

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including executives, technical teams, and end-users.

• Ability to manage and influence stakeholders, balancing competing interests and ensuring alignment with project goals.

• Strong understanding of business operations and how IT applications can drive efficiency, productivity, and innovation.

• Ability to align IT project outcomes with broader organizational strategies and objectives.

• Works effectively across multiple teams, fostering collaboration and synergy.

• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technological advancements.
