Program Manager/Program Director/Chief Executive -Social Development

Program Manager/Program Director /Chief Executive -Social Development Initiatives in the office of the Chairman Emeritus -Larsen & Toubro Limited.

Position Summary:

The role will involve assisting the Chairman Emeritus in Managing and Mentoring various initiatives being carried out in the following organizations:

L&T Public Charitable Trust: Mentoring the team on key programmes with a focus on Skilling, Livelihood and the proposed Centre for Teacher Training. Visit to project sites meeting beneficiaries and NGO partners. Participating in interviews for key personnel

Review of the Anil Naik Technical Training Centre (a residential skilling centre for school drop outs) performance and advising on expansion plans.

L&T Skill Trainers Academy

Mentoring and overseeing the operations of STA

Participating in Gate approval for every program

Attending opening and closing session of every training program

Monthly review of performance wrt no of programs conducted wrt budget,quality of the program based on feedback received ,management of expenses.

Meeting senior govt officials from Skill Ministries when required

Qualifications required: Post Graduation in Social Development

Experience :20-25 years of working in Business/Project management and CSR/Social development areas with at least 5 years in a leadership role

Skills: Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills. He must be an effective communicator adept in project management and have a strong desire to contribute effectively in social transformational programmes. He should have a good understanding of the Skilling and Social Development sector in India

Personal Attributes: High on ethics, commitment , decision making and program implementation
