About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced "AGM/DGM - Sponsorship Sales" to drive revenue through strategic partnerships and sponsorships for our Concerts and Intellectual Property (IP) business. This role requires a proactive professional with strong business acumen, excellent client relationship skills, and a passion for live entertainment and branded events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
o Identify and develop sponsorship opportunities for concerts, branded IPs, and live entertainment events.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key brands, agencies, and corporate partners to drive revenue.
o Develop compelling sponsorship propositions, presentations, and packages tailored to client needs.
- Revenue Management:
o Meet and exceed sales targets through sponsorship deals and partnerships.
o Negotiate contracts, closing deals that create a win-win for both clients and the company.
- Strategic Planning:
o Develop innovative sales strategies to grow sponsorship revenue streams across live events and IP properties.
o Collaborate with internal teams to create customized solutions that integrate brand objectives into events.
- Client Servicing:
o Ensure effective post-sale servicing and seamless client execution during events.
o Work closely with event production, marketing, and operations teams to deliver exceptional value to sponsors.
- Market Insights:
o Stay updated with market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the sponsorship and events space.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields.
- 5-8 years of strong experience in sponsorship sales, media sales, or business development within the entertainment, media, or events industry.
- Go-getter with Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Existing relationships with brands, media agencies, and corporate clients will be an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to conceptualize and create compelling brand solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Passion for the events, music, and entertainment industry.
