Role & responsibilities
Strategic Financial Management:
Develop and oversee comprehensive financial strategies, including budgeting, cash flow management, and securing project funding for large-scale real estate projects.
Optimize financial performance to ensure alignment with the company's long-term goals.
Accounting Operations:
Lead daily accounting activities, including project cost tracking and financial reconciliations.
Ensure timely financial closures and maintain robust accounting systems.
Regulatory Compliance & Taxation:
Ensure full compliance with real estate-specific tax regulations, RERA guidelines, and other statutory reporting requirements.
Liaise with auditors and regulators to ensure seamless compliance and reporting.
Financial Analysis & Decision Support:
Conduct detailed feasibility studies, project profitability analyses, and investment appraisals.
Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Audit & Risk Management:
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Develop risk mitigation strategies to protect project profitability and organizational compliance.
Leadership & Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and upskill the finance team, fostering collaboration across departments.
Promote a culture of excellence and accountability.
Banking & Financing:
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions for project financing and loan documentation.
Oversee fund disbursements and repayment schedules to maintain strong financial health.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including cost-to-completion forecasts, project performance summaries, and variance analyses.
Qualifications
Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent (CPA preferred); a strong academic background in Finance or Accounting.
Experience: Minimum 12+ years in senior finance roles within the real estate sector.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in advanced financial tools (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar ERP systems) and a deep understanding of RERA compliance and real estate accounting.
Key Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of real estate financial management.
Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
Proven ability to manage risk and ensure compliance.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
