Accounts Executive Real Estate Developer (Landmark Group)

Role & responsibilities

Tally Entries:

Record daily financial transactions in Tally ERP accurately and promptly.

Maintain ledgers, vouchers, and journal entries related to real estate projects, property sales, and rentals.

Handle entries for accounts payable (vendor payments) and receivables (client payments).

Ensure accurate classification of expenses and income.

Bank Reconciliation:

Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts with Tally records.

Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company accounts.

Monitor daily bank transactions and ensure timely updates in financial records.

Accounts Management:

Track outstanding receivables and follow up with clients for timely payments.

Reconcile vendor accounts and ensure accurate payment processing.

Maintain petty cash accounts and ensure proper documentation.

Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure proper GST entries and assist in filing returns.

Prepare monthly financial reports such as cash flow, income, and expense statements.

Support audits by providing necessary financial data and documents.

Coordination with Stakeholders:

Collaborate with banks for account-related queries and updates.

Liaise with internal teams for invoice generation, approvals, and reconciliations.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.

Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Excel.

Strong understanding of bank reconciliation processes.

Knowledge of GST and basic tax compliance.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

2+ years of experience in accounting with a focus on Tally entries and bank reconciliation.

Experience in the real estate industry is an advantage.

This role is critical for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring proper bank account management, and supporting the financial health of real estate operations

Candidates who have worked with a Chartered Accountant Firm having real estate clients or with a real estate developer would be an added advantage
