The Impact You ll Make
Join Lam as an Electrical Engineer and youll be at the forefront, designing and developing electronic solutions for advanced applications. Your role involves designing and analyzing equipment, conducting experimental tests, evaluating results to create reliable cutting-edge solutions.
In this role, you will directly contribute to Deposition Product Group of Lam India.
What You ll Do
- Develop Functional Requirement Specifications for various Electro-Mechanical systems.
- Selection of Electrical & Electronics OEM components and materials for Power distribution, I/O Controllers, Sensors, Cables, PCBs etc.
- Create and Release system level Electrical engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.
- Work on Electrical / Electronics engineering CAD tools for circuit design & simulations.
- Perform various circuit analyses like De-rating & Stress analysis, Power analysis & Logic compatibility analysis etc.
- Define project schedule, work breakdown structure and milestones to drive concept to production lifecycle.
- Study and recommend corrective/ permanent solutions for technical challenges/new products.
- Define test procedures, and participate in assembly, build and test verification
- Well versed with Part life cycle management, Obsolescence management activities.
- Conduct and drive Design review to get buy-in from all cross functional teams.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Who We re Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- BE in Electrical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience; or
- ME in Electrical Engineering 5+ years; or equivalent work experience.
Mandatory Skills required to perform the job:
- Proficient in system level understanding of Electro-Mechanical Sub-systems (Semi-conductor / Automotive / Aerospace) , Power Distribution/Control systems and/or Industrial Automation.
- Proficient in designing the sensor interfaces to IO controllers (Analog & Digital IO s)
- Proficient in Electrical & Electronic Circuit design with safety interlocks & various circuit analyses. (Circuit analyses include De-rating & Stress analysis, Power analysis & Logic compatibility analysis etc.)
- Proficient in selecting Electrical/Electronic OEM components.
- Hands-on experience in Low/High Voltage Electrical & Electronic circuit designs for Power and Control applications.
- Must have worked on any one of electrical engineering CAD tools like PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, Cadence or equivalent CAD packages for circuit design & simulation.
- Familiar with Safety standards like - UL 508, IEC 60947, SEMI S22, NFPA79.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient with capital equipment or similar (for e.g., Semiconductor, Process industries, medical instrumentation, Automotive, Aerospace, etc.) industry in a sub-system / module design project.
- Proficient in selection of components, setting up equipment for experimentation / testing in laboratory environment, setting up safe practices.
- Sound Knowledge in Engineering Change & Configuration Management Process.
- Excellent Communication and Mentoring skills.
