We re looking for a talented social media specialist to help manage our social media operations.
Youll work closely with the Head of Social Media and our team of talented content creators to develop campaigns across social media platforms that help us build meaningful, long-term relationships with our client communities.
Key Responsibilities
The social media team is part of Impact, IONs in-house communications and marketing agency. We re a multidisciplinary team of content, design, digital marketing, events, media, video, and web specialists. Our social media team oversees all social media platforms and tools across the ION Group. Our job is to present ION at its best through effective social media communications.
As a social media specialist, you ll manage the correct and timely publishing of content across a range of social media channels for the Group. You ll be one of our in-house social media experts providing advice, guidance, and support to our teams.
Your role will include:
1. Managing social media operations for the ION Group:
Performing social media content management: Fact-checking, proofreading, editing, scheduling, posting, tagging.
Liaising with internal teams for content creation, copywriting, and asset design.
Planning and maintaining social media content calendars.
Social media governance: Access management, password management, best practice.
Performing social media monitoring and ad hoc community management.
A d hoc social media support.
2. Social media analytics:
Producing regular reports using tools such as Hootsuite and Google Analytics.
Creating analytics dashboards.
3. Social media education and training:
Training our product experts on how to use social media effectively.
Advocating for social media usage across the business.
Educating our stakeholders on social media best practices.
Building best-practice guides and presentations.
4. Supporting operations for the ION Markets blog:
Managing projects and Jira tickets.
Helping authors to post on their own social media.
Scheduling content from our blog on relevant ION social media channels.
5. Supporting our social media advocacy program:
Managing content for the advocacy platform.
Onboarding users and troubleshooting issues.
Providing campaign support.
User education.
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Required
5+ years experience in a social media manager role.
Experience with social media management platforms, particularly Sprinklr.
Experience with building reports in Google Analytics and Google Data Studio.
Solid understanding of digital marketing best practices.
Understanding of B2B marketing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong editorial skills and attention to detail.
Great communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a range of stakeholders from junior to senior levels.
A team player.
Excellent time and project management skills.
Preferred
Some experience with social listening platforms (Brandwatch).
Understanding of paid social.
Some knowledge of the fintech industry.
