Insight Business Machines - Network Engineer L2 - WLAN/Firewall (1-7 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

i. Firewall rule creation, migrations, and re-certification. (eg Checkpoint Firewalls, Juniper Firewalls, Fortinet Firewalls, Tipping Point, IDS, IPS, Juniper IDS, Citrix WAF, Firemon Security Management Suite

ii. Install, setup, test, configure, upgrade, maintain, document and troubleshoot Firewall, IDS/IPS platforms, IPSec VPN Tunnels, active LAN (switches, routers, firewall etc), WAN Communication links, Network Equipment.

iii. LAN switch monitoring, Regular checkup of communication links

iv. Monitor, maintain, analyze and troubleshooting network problems

v. Logging calls to service provider in case of Link failure and pursue till communication restores

vi. Arranging standby equipment in case of emergency.

vii. Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation.

Skills Required :

i. Knowledge and experience in managing networking equipment and related troubleshoots

ii. Knowledge and experience in managing WAN communication links

iii. Knowledge and experience in managing 2nd and 3rd level firewalls and managing related troubleshoots. (eg Checkpoint Firewalls, Juniper Firewalls, Fortinet Firewalls, Tipping Point, IDS, IPS, Juniper IDS, Citrix WAF, etc.)

iv. Knowledge of WiMAX (only for Rustomjee site)

v. Great problem-solving abilities
