Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Solar to develop, lead and oversee the execution of solar power projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or a related field with 7 to 10 years of experience in managing solar energy projects. This role requires strong project management expertise, business development skills, and technical knowledge to ensure the successful execution and growth of LR Energys solar portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

- Manage end-to-end execution of solar projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

- Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

- Lead and coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams for smooth execution.

- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve technical, operational, and logistical challenges.

- Ensure compliance with government regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.

- Supervise installation, commissioning, and testing of solar power systems.

- Identify and mitigate project risks to ensure smooth execution.

- Conduct site visits to assess installations, ensure quality control, and track progress.

- Prepare detailed reports on project status, budget utilization, and performance metrics.

Project Development:

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, investors, and government authorities.

- Assist in tendering, proposal preparation, and contract negotiations for solar projects.

- Collaborate with the sales and business development team to support lead generation and project acquisition.

- Stay updated with market trends, government policies, and emerging technologies to enhance business growth.

- Support strategic partnerships and alliances to expand LR Energys solar footprint.

Qualifications & Skills:

- MBA in operations and Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- 7 to 10 years of experience in project management within the solar energy sector.

- Strong knowledge of solar PV system design, installation, and commissioning.

- Experience in business development, client relations, and project acquisition in the solar industry.

- Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, etc.).

- Understanding of solar policies, regulations, and grid integration requirements.

- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.

- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
