Procurement Inspection Engineer

The purpose of this job is to ensure that established Inspection procedures & QAPs implemented and maintained at Manufacturers locations & ensure timely inspections by effective co-ordination with customer inspectors ( also with TPI) & vendor quality Team.

Key Result Areas (KRA s): 1. QAP & Procedure implementation & maintenance 2 Awareness creation among Project Stakeholders on the importance quality requirement & adherance 3. Competance development by ensuring right qualification for right job in different processes and activities 4 Dealing with Non conformity / non compliance in works & ensuring necessary corrective actions.

Secondary Result Areas: 1 Conducting cross region Audits at Vendor places & ensuring effective compliances. 2 Subordinate & TPI mangement . 3 Networking with Project Team, Procurement & design teams. 4 Supporting Project Quality Team & Regional Inspection incharges .

Cross Functional Responsibilities: 1. Employee Engagement. 2. Adherence to Safety Policy. 3. Goal Setting and Appraisals. 4. Other Management Initiatives

Knowledge : International and National Quality systems such as ISO 9001, Indepth knowledge of Quality requirements in EPC company.

Skills: Updating latest trends in manufacturing (piping, equipments), welding etc. Interpersonal skil to work with different stakholders. Skill for reporting & monitoring Project status in computer software .
