Manager - ILS

Job Description:

1. Responsible for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)- Engineering support, repair and maintenance of the weapon systems supplied to the customer. Responsible for Joint Receipt Inspection (JRI), Installation and commissioning (I&C) of AD weapon system at multiple customer locations across the country.
2. Planning and coordination with costumer for movement of equipment from factory to customer premises, all activities for JRI and I&C, ensure completion of the scope as per contract and obtain sign-off from customer.
3. Manage team of engineers and technicians which will support in JRI, I&C and ILS of the supplied equipment, ensure their training on operation and maintenance of the equipment.
4. Proactively plan regular check of the commissioned systems in consultation with the customer and ensure preventive maintenance as per specifications.
5. Respond to any customer complaints or concerns immediately and ensure closure of complaints with appropriate sign off. Carry out any Defect Investigation required and ensure formal closure of defects in the customer channel.
6. Assist internal training team for conduct of customer training on the supplied system. Conduct refresher training for the customer at site.
7. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and business partners for any support required at site for JRI, I&C or ILS.

Eligibility, Skills & Qualifications:

1. Ex Short Service Commissioned Indian Air Force officer (Squadron Leader) from Weapon Systems background with max 10 years of service.
2. Degree in Engineering in Electronics or Telecommunication engineering.
3. Experience in operation and maintenance of air defence weapon systems, radars. Technical skills and aptitude for in depth learning of new systems.
4. Ability to lead a team of technicians from varied streams, located across the country, ensure their availability, technical training, administration, discipline and performance for ILS, JRI & I&C.
5. Adept at planning and execution of projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders, managing constraints of time, cost and shared resources.
6. Customer Relationship Management for streamlining processes and improve business relationship with customer.
7. Soft skills for effective communication with customer ensuring organizational interest.
8. Adept with MS office, projects, Power BI tools for planning, execution, reporting and communication.
9. Medically and physically fit for regular travel across India to customer sites.
10. Age- 35 years
