Job Description
Job Summary: The Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Electric Vehicles & e-Mobility will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality educational content and training programs. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of industry and academic experience, with a strong background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. This role requires a combination of teaching expertise, industry knowledge, and a commitment to student engagement and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 10-15 years of experience in the electric vehicles and e-mobility sector, with a blend of industry and academic exposure.
- Demonstrated expertise in areas such as battery technology, power electronics, electric drivetrain systems, and charging infrastructure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and industry professionals.
- Willingness to travel as required for in-person classes and industry collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Course Development: Develop and deliver comprehensive courses on electric vehicles and e-mobility, ensuring the content is current and industry-relevant.
- Student Training and Engagement: Conduct live virtual and in-person classes across the country, providing hands-on training and fostering an interactive learning environment.
- Collaboration and Professional Development: Work collaboratively with industry partners and academic institutions to enhance course offerings and stay updated with technological advancements.
- Research and Innovation: Engage in continuous research to integrate cutting-edge trends and demands into the curriculum, ensuring its applicability and relevance.
- Technical Expertise Areas: Focus on battery technology, power electronics, electric drivetrain systems, charging infrastructure, and sustainable mobility solutions.
- Travel: Travel as required to facilitate in-person training sessions and collaborate with industry partners.
